My name is Elizabeth Cruz Garcia

My interest in communication began in middle school, sparked by my local newspaper and a growing curiosity about writing and how media messages shape the world around us. In high school, I became immersed in political and social education in East Los Angeles, which led me to explore civic engagement beyond the classroom through community volunteering, coalition-building, and outreach work.
​
Through my experiences with InnerCity Struggle, LEEAF, and most recently the USC Center for Third Space Thinking, I’ve developed communication skills in people-led and community-centered spaces. These experiences strengthened my ability to build thoughtful, inclusive messaging while also deepening my personal connection to the work I do.

I’m excited to have you here. This website is a creative space where I share projects that reflect both my professional growth and personal passions. My goal is to create meaningful work for myself while also inspiring others.
